went for a movie with jr on the new year eve. watched avartar at cathay and i must say the movie is reali nice! (though if u ask me most of the movie details like jr did i may not be able to answer you even right aft the movie :P ) the graphics and effects are reali very nice and real and we weren't even watching the 3D one is amazing enough. but nice way to see how the humans can enter into the dreamworld and communicate with the aliens and even be part of them. was reali romantic and touching at the part that the male lead has chosen the path to live in the dreamworld and gave up his life as a real being and live with his love and the rest of the aliens. he din die of cuz, but just a choice he has to make to transfer his soul to the alien body for good :) nice show to watch for those who haven! thumbs up! :)
went back to boon lay for the countdown as usual with my mum and sisters :) my dad was fast asleep cuz he has to work the next day. did asked him if he wanted to join but think the bed is more enticing than the countdown cum mini fireworks. :P we went down only ard 11plus, stood there and watched abit of the emcees talking and cracking jokes to liven up the atmosphere. then mark lee came up the stage at about 15mins to 2010 to start getting the guest of honours up on stage to say some words. and then........the countdown followed by the fireworks! can't reali rmb whether last year's fireworks were nice, but this year's one was not bad! but think we stand abit too near to where the fireworks bloomed. can feel the particles dropping after each bloom of the fireworks, but stil, the atmosphere was great! byebye 2009!!!!!!!!!! :)

met up with lia chris and josie on the first day of the new year for dinner at Watami at The Central. first time eating at that restaurant cuz josie heard frm her frenz that the food there is nice so we decided to give it a try. no doubt was reali tasty leh!! :) glad for my choice of cold noodles, is actuali a simple dish with cold noodles, crab sticks, prawns, lettuces, minced shrimps egg yolk strips with a very nice sauce to mix them with :) yummy!! the mere thought of it makes me hungry again!! lia ordered cold noodles for herself too, is actuali sashimi cold noodles. very nice too! the soup base itself has a strong pepper taste, and the sashimi was reali fresh :) the noodles are semi translucent and quite chewy to the bite! :) josie got herself chashu ramen with very nice soup base too and chris got seafood baked rice that was reali hot and cheesy :) we shared one pizza, was actuali wat josie wanted for herself but she scared she cannot finish the whole pizza by herself (like tat time at timbre -_-!) so we ended up sharing it after getting one main course for ourselves:) the pizza was reali nice with crispy crust and fresh seafood toppings!! great meal at watami and will definitely partonise again!!! :) nice dinner out with them where we talked abt how we been spending our holidays and how lia had spent her holidays out at australia :) went to walk ard abit and took some photos along the clarke quay river too :) guess will be the last meet up before sch starts again...Zzz >_<
