friday :)

is the end of the week once again :) each week just had to pass too quickly and before i noe it, soon will be exam period liao :X

didn't go for the volleyball session at ccab today, cuz wanna dino to have more time to complete more of his fyp report and i oso have some time to nua at home:) can also start abit of my sci powerpoint slides and do my new tutorials for next week. always wanted to do alot of things when i seem to have more time at home, but will end up slacking around until the last min :P

had a table-tennis competition with dino today! haha...the bet was the winner to treat carl's junior for dinner (the bet was set in this way cuz he know he will win me>_<) yar lor, he won...last week when we first play he wasnt as good as he was today lor! Zzzz...he won 4sets out of the 7 sets we played. but almost all sets are close fight wor! :P not bad not bad ar, is a fair game but cuz i lost mah, so buay gum wan keep saying dino play cheat :P hehehe...nvm, next time play again!! :)

read cheryl's blog and saw her post on the topic she discussed with her vball friends during dinner time, whether we would want our spouse to leave the world before you or would you want to leave the world first. i think i saw this before in an email and i thought my answer is quite diff frm the norm - i would want my spouse to leave before me, cuz i wouldnt want him to live for the rest of his life alone. it is definitely very saddening to see your spouse leaving before you. but to see from heaven that he is not living happily in the days after you left, i think is more aching for the heart isnt it? hahaha...so happen that i would always choose the latter choice in your subsequent questions - whether you will be waiting for the one you love/like to go offline before you on msn or when talking over phone or after a meetup, to first say goodbye and hang up or wait for the person to hang up or leave first before you. i think the answers to these qns do not have a definite answer, but it just goes to prove how much the other person mean to you in your heart :) whether is it a lifelong promise or a 短暂的承诺，all has to come from the bottom of the heart. yep, not emo or wat, just tot cheryl's entry to this topic is quite thought-provoking :)

updates :)

haven been updating my blog for some time, cuz life hasnt been particularly exciting :X been studying for tests and rushing assignments. reali hope this sem will end fast cuz im getting less motivated to go school liao, esp on tue and fri when i have to only go sch for my eng CS module. a totally useless lesson cuz of the tutor. dread to the max. but no choice still gonna tahan through until the 2nd assignment is over!!!! :( this week was supposed to be elearning week for eng, but we had to do this group assignment which we were to do a lesson plan and then film a 6 minute long video on the during part of our lesson. But the worst thing is, this assignment is not graded!! totally no marks allocated and is so much work can. All my frens are all doing this unwillingly lor. but no choice, grumble grumble grumble still have to do it. and then come the uploading to blackboard. initially my groupmates all agreed that the last person doing the last part of the lesson plan to upload everything to BB, in the end he decided to let us check the completed lesson plan that he did and he said that the last person to check to upload everything with the video. but the worst thing is, he forgot that the video file is only with me and him cuz tat day when we did the recording, it was using my camera-_-! so in the end when i finally reached home on friday night(the assignment was due tat day at 6pm) i tried uploading but the BB had to fail me then. prob with uploading, so we had to email our tutors and told them about it. luckily mdm jones is nice enough to understand our situation and accepted our explanation.

anyway, friday was sports day for dino and me! :) we played table-tennis, badminton and then vball tgt until HE was so tired that he kept dozing off on the bus ride back home after the vball session with the teachers at ccab :) haha...was very fun, esp like after so long i haven been playing table-tennis. and dino was super hilarious when he tried to smack the ball and ended up sending the ball flying everywhere but across the table :P hahaha...but must say his service not bad leh, still will try to act like those professionals we see on tv during the olympics :P aft table-tennis we walked over to src to play badminton. i dun quite like badminton cuz i always miss the shuttlecock last time when i played. this time round was still ok (i still will miss the ball), just tat i got reali tired and sweat like nobody's business after only 45mins of play >_< ended up having muscle aches on my right arm the next day :P haha...had a bath and dinner in sch before we head down to ccab for vball! dino saw his jc teacher ms alice and she so happen to know one of the teachers who oso plays vball with us every friday. chatted abit before we went to the court. tat day was quite crowded compared to the week before which had only 7 teachers including myself. played and laughed the whole session and then dino and i headed back home :))))

ytd had a friendly with leon's team! was the first time playing as a team with some changes in the gals team. like me playing as the setter and Christie joining the team aft opens last year. esther was not there ytd and xingni took over the subset position :) i thought it was quite well-played considering the fact that im still not very good in my setting and also is our first game tgt against other team:) our opponent was not very strong and according to leon, they were only 6months old. haha...sounds like some new-born baby like tat. plus they have 2 players who are already 30plus and 40plus years old liao! haha...but nice playing with them! :) at least after ytd's game i know i still have sooteng in the team with us. she hasnt been coming for trainings and last heard frm melvin she seems to be goin over to red team. apparently she is not :)))) but felt abit awkward initially cuz i din even msg her abt the friendly thing because i tot she is not joining our team liao, only msg her sis soowen abt it. but think both of them was ok and for now, we just have to work on our mo qi with the two of them, cuz after so long the rest of the gals been trying to get used to my setting and now that soowen is back, i hope she will try to distribute and let the rest spike instead of only to her sister :) im sure we can work on that and the whole team will become better as a whole! :)

a day at home today to study matlab for my coming test on wed. hopefully i can master it by then T_T

irodori restaurant @ river view hotel! :)

yoohoo~~ went for a super nice buffet at irodori restaurant today with dino aft kangquan's recommendation that the buffet there is nice and definitely worth the money. he gave us one voucher where 3 of us can eat at the price of 2! initially asked my er jie along but she decided not to go cuz by the time she end work and reach the place would be quite late already. so in the end dino called uncle jae, his jc teacher along! :) first time seeing him, is quite a humorous teacher and i thought is very nice to have teacher and students still keeping in close contact after their graduation so many years later. he arrived later cuz he had meeting in school before that too. so dino and i went in and started eating first!:D must say the food there, esp the raw fish is reali very nice and fresh. and their serving there is very generous too! every slice will make you reali bite and savour the taste until the very last bit! *slurps* their they oso have a variety of food done in different way like grill and teppanyaki, top up with a list of sushi and handrolls you can choose from! we did try the different recommendation that kangquan told us the other time, like the irodori maki and the sashimi mix plate. they are of cuz the must-try dishes when u eat there! :) uncle jae reached around 1plus and he did abit of research of what are the nice dishes reviews said that we should try and in the end we ordered a few more other kinds of dishes (see pictures below!:P) is definitely a great meal and we will definitely go back there again! :D

argh......why does it have to be friday already?? T_T means recess is coming to an end liao. boo!!!!!! was reali quite sian this recess, cuz oso din reali get to relax and enjoy during the whole week but to rush out assignments and study for coming tests, not to mention both dino n i had blisters on our soles aft sunday's beach, i had to limp around and miss trainings :( the work just doesnt seem to end and not long will we have another round of new assignments flooding in. booo!!!!! may june aug holidays faster come!!!!!! -_-!

a great day spent at sentosa with synergy! :)

had lots of fun today at sentosa with my team synergy. was an outing planned by niko, and im glad the response was good! :) quite a few ppl turned up at sentosa even though the lunch was quite pathetic, only me soowen dino and danis-_-! haha...was abit awkward initially lar, but still ok as topics started flowing in and soowen started sharing her bday details tat night at her party aft we left and the experiences of seeing the transexual when she is working at sgh :P oh yar! soowen and i wore the same singlet today! so good mo qi with her sia!! :) finished our lunch at ard 1245 and then we decided to wait for andre who was almost reaching vivo at that time, so then again we sat down on the floor and chatted awhile while seeing the many ppl flooded the ticket centre. today's crowd was quite big - mostly tourists though, not so much of those goin hitting the beach to play vb tat kind. so the 5 of us went in and not long after, choonkee reached the beach oso, and we played with soowen's twin bro and frens a game before melvin and niko reached :) den followed by eric and then cheryl christie with their nus frens! :) the group started to get bigger and i thought was nice to see the rest outside of trainings. cuz it was reali a good way to bond together with each other and have lots of laughter tgt! not long after we started playing then we took a break and melvin decided to treat us go eat ice-cream! but cuz most of us prefer ice ka-chang to quench our thirst so we give the ice cream a miss and head for the dessert stall outside underwater world. was reali cooling to eat the cold dessert after standing under the hot sun leh, so reali must thank melvin for that! reali feel he like a father bringing many children out like tat :P we went back aft the dessert and continued to play for awhile more before we go bathe and head out to vivo city for dinner! cheryl and christie din join us for dinner cuz they eating with their frens. eric and ck left earlier oso. so the rest of us left sentosa in mel and niko's cars to meet up with jimmy and pauline. soowen suggested carnivore which is one restaurant that i nv tried before so we got the couple outside to make reservation. the dinner was good, just that it was abit costly. get to taste a variety of meat which was served right down to ur plate straight frm the skewers:) haha...some of them was quite worried that the staff will accidentally cut us when they cut the meat out cuz the knives were all very sharp and long. dinner amount to about $45 per person, slightly steep but is a one time(only) enjoyment mah:P haha...gonna treat myself to a good meal before i hit my assignments over the recess week!:)) after dinner met esther and we went to the top level open space there to sit and chit chat awhile. and took a few photos there too!:)) nice way to relax and sit in the windy open space and seeing a few little boys wanna bully my cute dino by threatening to step on his hand! very naughty actuali, but tot was qutie funny too :) enjoyed myself alot today definitely, apart frm the scorching hot sand that caused me and dino (and only me and dino-_-!) to have blisters on our soles. Zzzz...was quite pain to have blisters there lor,cuz cant reali step properly while walking, so every step was excruciating :X and his was reali quite big. haha...other than that think all of us had a great day out tgt! looking forward to the next synergy outing again! :))))))
