the vulnerable eyes...

tested again in class today. my 2nd time tearing since i started teaching last half of the year cuz I was too angry with my class. not exactly angry till I hate them, but just that few monkeys that have to forget to submit worksheets or forget to bring or jolly well brought their stuff but when I called out who have not handed in they will just be in the self denial mode till I have to head count and wasted so much class time then they will bring out their worksheets to me. was super exhausted to shout at them too. But for the start of the year, I think I really have to set the tone right and enforce the rules and regulations in the class so that they will not become worse as the year goes by. it warms my heart to see that a few of them became better after some talks with them. I really have to set my mind straight that they are all here to learn and my patience with them is required.

end of first week of school :)

and yes!!! I've survived the hectic first week of school! :) was rather drained even though it seems that we haven done much over the week. Being the first time having a class on my own, I have the freedom to decorate my class up according to what I want and set rules to my pupils whom I feel a sense of belonging to. More exciting events coming up next - volleyball trials next Tuesday and cca open hse the following week! And yes, I am so excited for my new volleyball team now cuz I just can't wait to see a vb team grow in my hands! :) but I can foresee myself getting more tired with all the trainings and the start of all the markings coming in, but I'm sure my teaching career will be a lot more fulfilling and exciting! Woooooohoooo! ;)

managed to find time before sch starts and in between during recess to set up court and play VB with quite a big group of children today! shagged on my side but it is all worth it!  looking forward to the VB trial next tuesday! :))))))))))
