31 December 2013 :)

here again, the last day of the year. this year seems too short to be true. I was hesitating to write this post as I didn't even feel like it is coming to an end. looking back this year, looking back the posts I had written, a tiny weeny bit of tears came to my eyes when I read the post about my Rongrong's proposal to me on 31 December 2012, the post about how the wait for PSLE results this year for my dear p6 class came about, how I finally hit my resolution for 2013 that was set last year - to achieve full class with no U graders or repeats. it was with the heartiest joy and pride that I send off my graduating class. Set several resolutions for the year and I guess somehow, one way or the other, I've fulfilled and achieved my resolutions :)

a brand new year awaits.

2014

it will be a year full of changes, of cuz, changes that lead me to another phase of my life.

a brand new class of p5, weakest of the lot, but a class that I can't wait to work hand in hand with them to make miracles, again.

a new post of EL coordinator for upper primary. not sure of the responsibilities as yet, but pretty sure that as long as it is for pupils, I will work hard for it.

the year rongrong and I will get our new flat! definitely something that is massive, real and challenging - to set up a place where both of us belong, where we call it our home :)

to be going through a few months of preparations, leading up to our big day. wedding on 16 Nov 2014 :) it will be a day when I will be officially called Mrs Koh (actually I'm already legally Mrs Koh), a day onwards when I will have to live away from my parents and sister, a day when all my close family and friends will be present to witness the happiest day of my life :')

a year which I hope my school volleyball cca will have a bit of achievement, letting my boys shine a little among all the other ccas...

also a year which I may have to decide if I am going over Italy with my lao gong if his project is gonna drag till 2015. will see how it goes, till then, nobody knows :)

this list is a tad different from the resolutions that I've set in the previous few years. but it is with a whole new set of responsibilities and challenges that I'm looking forward to embrace and enter. entering into the next phase of my life, anxious, uncertain, eager and blessed. definitely hoping for the best in everything, good health for myself and all my family members, smooth-sailing in mine and Rongrong's and my siblings' careers, happiness and joy in my whole big family.

happy 4 years anniversary to my dearest rongrong! counting on to many years of anniversaries with you! <3

welcome, 2014 :)

recovering from my acl reconstruction surgery :)

did my first ever operation on 23 dec 2013..the eve of the Christmas Eve..this year Xmas was spent quite differently, very different actually. after my fall, had a surgery scheduled after my overseas trips to hongkong with my JC vb girls, followed by Italy to find my rongrong and came back with him... So came 23 dec when I first got wheeled into an operating theatre and had to undergo an op to reconstruct my anterior cruciate ligament. was a 3h op, of cuz I did not know anything but just slept through the whole op..was awakened by the nurses that they would be wheeling me back to my room and that was when I regained a bit of consciousness. saw my family members waiting for me in my room but was fighting to stay awake because of the anathesia. vomited twice that night as I tried to drink some water and milo but out came all the fluid and medicine that went in :X my first time experiencing such  a naseous effect due to the medicine but was glad the next day the effect was gone and I'm back to eating ;)

another one more day before I was discharged from the hospital on 26 dec :) am recovering well at home now. can't wait to regain my leg power and be back to school in one week's time! (hopefully!)

and through this mini ordeal, I experienced so much love from my family members..my mum and sisters, brother-in law and my especially my rongrong who accompanied me through the two nights slping in the hospital with me. and his brother and sister-in-law, sister and bro-in-law also made the trip down to see me :') felt so much love from my family...I am indeed a fortunate little being, showered with love from my hubby and his family and my family members! Love all of ya many many! <3
