last day in sqps!!

woohoo~~!! finally the last day in sqps, would say that time reali zoomed!!! was enjoying myself during this 5 weeks attachment, especially so when my 3 CTs are so nice and friendly! Learnt alot of things from them, especially Ms Chew! she is my main CT and she actually gave me 4 periods of lesson to try teaching!! reali learnt alot of things from her, how to go about managing the class and stuff..this 5 weeks reali affirmed my decision to become a primary school teacher!! although there is lots of lesson plan to be done, lots of admin work that can reali suffocate the teacher, i believe that the passion to teach will drive all the unhappy thoughts away!! =) shall look forward my prime years in my teaching career in another 2 years time!!! =)

juz ended lesson with Ms Chew's maths class, had enjoyed every single lesson with this class..surprisingly i can stay fully awake whenever i step into this class! haha...probably oso cuz i like maths =P goin back to the class to take a class photo with them and then give out my chocolates!!! haha...giving another class later for the last 2 periods too!!!

3 more days in sqps! =)

hmmm...time reali pass damn fast and is just another 3 more days before i finish off my 5 weeks of attachment to sqps..at least for 1 more week i can slp til late!been pretty tired with waking up early in the morning at 550am,esp on days when i had trainings or friendly matches the night before.. reali trying very hard to open my eyes and climb out of bed in the morning...

the attachment in sqps was a pretty good experience for me cuz i got 3 very nice CTs..they never fail to share with me how the school's management functions, how they prepare their lessons..esp when i have to haunt them with my weekly reflection questions..the patience to finish up the week's reflection slowly dies off as the weeks passed...the questions to reflect on just seems to repeat itself and i realised i got nth much to write about as it comes to the last week..

got to try teaching during this 5 weeks - though only 4 periods given by my main cooperating teacher, i reali appreaciate it. given that she is trying to rush through the syllabus with the class to compensate for the time lost for the coming public holidays. gave the class a concluding lesson on decimals, played a game with them tat time (suggested by deardear =P). went through quite well, stealing abt 5 mins into the next lesson which is oso my main CT period so is not so bad. taught another 2 periods TODAY and i juz feel horrendous...haha..think i today oso no mood,dunno why oso..did an activity with the class, a group work where they had to piece the given clock faces into a correct sequence by inserting the arrows with the correct seconds..got a total of 10 groups and i only managed to get 3 completed pieces from the class with only about 3 more groups half completed. my CT then feedback to me when back in the office that i missed out reiterating some key concepts and inserting some important slides to help students understand even better by looking at the slides. classroom management was not as good cuz the i wasted too much time during the acivities when they did in their pairs.come to pairwork i shd hav enforced the rules to work with the partner beside them as well.. hai...got alot more to learn in terms of delivering across a good lesson =) but reali thank my CT for guiding me and giving me those useful feedback! =)

new semester is starting soon, on 11aug..haven seen my timetable for the new semester yet.,was hoping if i can have like 4 days week =P haha..but think is quite impossible since i having 7modules this coming sem! reali quite sian to start the routine of completing assignments, studying for tests, doing projects and tutorials and then prepare for exams!!! argh...so sian!! muz reali have a good break next week before the boring routine of school starts again... *boo! =X

synergy girls team is almost ready, with a couple of friendly matches recently..im training for setter position just to play safe in case my setter is not able to make it for any one of the matches during the competition period..was feeling quite confused when playing tat position because im already playing as subset which is already a new position for me to get familiar with..u called it a sacrifice or im good to take over any positions, but i have to say im pretty confused reali =X

now im in the staffroom when im updating this blog..was feeling very sleepy sia =( wish im back home to zzz immediately!! -__- help help!!!! =P

is monday again!!!

argh.........crawl out of bed again this morning...cant explain why im forever so lack of sleep...mayb im juz too lazy and wish to stay in bed whole day! haha...how shiok it will be!!!! im now inside the staff room while updating my blog....goin for lesson at 11am...the seat i was at is very near the door...and the freaking door keep beeping or should i say shrilling when the door is not locked completely...and im always the few who got so irritated and will go and lock the door properly...seems to be a receptionist =_=

time reali pass very very fast...is already the 4th week in shuqun primary...one more week next week and im done with my teaching assistantship =) hehe...cant wait for the one week break before i start a new semester again! sigh.....gonna go into the routine of completing tutorials, attending lectures and tutorials, studying for tests and exams and doing up projects or completing reports.......arghhhhhh.........how i wish i can go for a holiday with deardear again!!!=X BOO!!! gonna get ready for my lesson observation soon...hope i wun doze off in the class!! gotta a bit of flu since morning, muz be the spicy miso ramen's fault last night i ate at ajisen with deardear and family =P

hehe...went to Sarah's son's 1 year old birthday party last night with deardear...been so long haven been goin to parties held in the void deck! haha...usually is malay weddings tat i went to, but now is a birthday party! and is an indian-malay family =) i would say is reali reali grand and many guests were there! the presents for the baby boy is reali alot!! haha...envy envy...is like a mountain like tat when they were all stacked up =P the theme of the party is elmo!!! haha...quite cute a theme, though i din manage to get an elmo as the birthday present =P got the baby a big bear instead! =)

went for an event on this morning at 8plus!! woke up at 7am in the morning and asked my mama whether is it monday already =P is actually an even held by mama's company tat she is working part time, at Summit International Lily Pte Ltd. was reali a big big event and all the members were present... mentioned in my previous entries before that i got a new bed and my mama got an undergarment tat helps her cure her backache problems efficiently, are all the products of the company =) wanted to help my mama promote on my blog, but was told is not a legal move..so if anyone of u has relative that are facing some health problems and are really at a loss to what can help them, can always look for me to know more about this product since there's no harm trying if is a matter of time before the illness overcome us and take us away from this world...maintaining good health is the best policy to keep urself a happy person after all =) =)

exactly a week ago.....

a week has passed since my brithday on the 11th...can you imagine it? haha...time reali pass so so fast...as though i just booked Safra not too long ago, catered my food and bought the necessary stuff not long ago, and now a week had already passed from the day of my party...last week this time was busy walking around in JP to buy last min stuff with lia and ah mann at the diy store..then drenched ourselves in the rain...haha...well...is over liao =)

suddenly feel pretty empty after this week...was reali busy this whole week. with school, with lesson planning and vb trainings n friendlies...Open starts in Aug, feels tat our team is rather strong for now provided no one is goin to absent themselves during the day of each match...POLYITE started le, hopefully sharon's team can do well tis time round!! zihui's team too...volleyball world is just so small...will end up meeting everyone u know on court again one day...paiseh ar, im juz blabbering out whatever that comes to my mind while my fingers run across freely across the keyboard =P

a saturday afternoon at home to finish up my reflection for the week and listening to 88.3fm...pretty good feeling =) but somehow i dun feel quite right deep within...moody? pms-ing? haha...dunno leh...anyway, goin to Sarah's baby boy 1 year old party later at night...know her during attachment at shuqun pri now =) shall get her boy an elmo since he love elmo so much..haha...shall talk till here =) enjoy ur weekend, peeps! =)

mixed feelings....

synergy gals team is finally ready, quite a pretty strong team i would say, cuz of the addition of a few players who are quite good and can really play very well. it is definitely heartening to see my team coming up strong and all ready for the Open tournament, however i do have some mixed feelings tat i do not really know who to voice out to...definitely not cuz i feel tat deardear is not appropriate enough for me to share my thoughts with, but rather, i dun wan deardear to feel tat i am not enjoying myself during trainings.. i am enjoying, of cuz, since i am playing for this team not for anyone but solely for myself...with the addition of the new players, i should feel happy that we are picking up as a team, but somehow deep deep within me im not tat happy...

say tat im self-centred or silly, but i lost my position as a open spiker. cuz the new players tat comes in r all playing the spikers positions...so much more steady and strong in their spikes during play. i am reali happy tat we managed to win alliance in the friendly tat we had on monday at kolem ayer cc, had lots of fun and laughter and our team is reali playing like a team...but somehow we need to build the confidence of the setter to set to the other spikers other than the two she is comfortable with. is definitely not a problem cuz we are about as sure to score if the two of them spike..and seriously i think is a very good start for our team =)

am training as a subset now, one that dun reali has to spike cuz most of the setters dun have the habit to set to tat position...all i need to do was to defend, sth which i actually like but now tat im in a different position im not so sure if i am enjoying myself after all. and now with the only setter in the team, we have to train for a new one in case our main one gets injured or absent, we have a reserve to fall on...and i think most probably im the one to be trained as setter...can u believe it? i cant...though i been playing as a setter when the main setter is not around, it is so different when i reali hav to train myself as one...hai...tat goes my spiker position...will miss it real much...

not to mention about my injury on my shoulder which is never seems to recover...cant control much when on some days it seems so warmed-up and seems to perform on task, but at times when it just do not work the way i wan it to be....reali very sian...can anything help me with it? =(

my 21st geeky birthday party!!! =)

finally got the time to sit down and blog after so many days!!! haha...was pretty tired after my party on saturday...busied myself on sunday with some photo-taking of my presents before i start doing my usual routine of chores..then went to deardear's hse to finish up my lesson plan for a 2 periods lesson which was suppose to be on monday but changed to tuesday first 2 periods instead cuz my CT has no looked through the lesson plan yet...so on monday, she went through with me the stuff that needs to be furher improved, i stayed back in school until almost 3pm, rushed home and take a short 15 mins nap before i wake up n start finishing up my lesson plan again before i leave my hse at 515pm for a vb friendly game with alliance at kolem ayer cc at 7pm..was pretty shag since my party and was super reluctant to pull myself out of bed every morning at 550 am -___- Zzzz....

reached home about 11plus 12 after my party, with lots of lovely presents from all my cute friends that geeky night! =) then my sis made the comment that we seemed to be back home from overseas when we unload the stuff from my sister's bf car! haha...was reali alot of stuff and those tidbits and utensils that were not finished up at the party itself =) that night was reali reali enjoyable though the rain did dampen my mood a little cuz the rain was still able to enter the pavilions even though they were sheltered.

i met up with Lia and manying on my party day at ard 3plus to 4pm, to go over to Safra Jurong to deco up the pavilions. met them at jp after i've gotten my blink blink hairpin from chameleon =P was feeling abit sian cuz i know that deardear was out since 1plus and carrying the humongous (described by Lia) all around looking for a place to store the cake until the night. initial plan was to put it at Lia's hse but when she met up with deardear, she knew at a glance tat her fridge cant fit at all...so gonna look for other alternative. i later called cynthia, the person in charge of the booking i made for the bbq pavilions to check wif her whether Safra has any place that i can store my cake. she told me not reali but got me to check out the restaurants and cafes inside Safra. called Jack's place and the person agreed readily tat we can place the cake there, so i immediately told deardear to bring the cake over. but the person called back again to inform us that he cant find any space in the fridge to hold my 50 by 40 cm cake-_- and deardear was already reaching Safra. in the end he had to take taxi with his sis back to the factory where he had collected the cake from and pleaded with the person in charge to store it for us till the night...

Lia could sense my sian-ness when she saw me...haha...but later on when we had gotten the spray cans, we proceeded to Safra immediately cuz by then was already 4plus and was pretty worried tat we cant finish the deco before my guests start pouring in...who knows, on our way to safra, it started to pour super heavily!!! manying lia n i were super drenched even when we had dashed all the way to the building...sian-ness after sian-ness, but we tot we looked pretty funny and 狼狈...haha...proceed to the security counter to ask for the key to access to the heavily drenched pavilions and we began to blow balloons and lia to continue with her master piece on the styrofoam boards...deardear later arrived and began to hang a banner!! was super shocked when i saw him taking out the banner!! haha...but was reali reali touched... =...)

Eunice arrived shortly after we reached the place...she came wif her bf!! haha...she was MIA for the past few gatherings and was seriously missing her! so was pretty honoured tat she actually came for my party though the food was not there yet for her to eat...she got me a big helium balloon!!! haha...was my first time getting tis kind of balloon!=) will definitely keep it even if it deflates after some time..she n her bf helped me for awhile with the deco before she say she got to leave le..nevertheless, thanks for coming!!! =D

i swear i almost feel dizzy after blowing like 70plus balloons?haha...the place was later full of balloons lined up by manying and deardear (the whole place was filled with my air literally =P) some of my relatives started coming in and im still in my tshirt n fbt =P haha...went to the toilet wif deardear to doll up ourselves! hehe...changed into my geek clothes which was purchased only the night before! pretty random cuz the top was not wat i wanted in mind...went into zara at wisma wif lia to take a look at the suspender skirt she saw and tot was suitable, n she juz randomly took a shirt for me to try together with the skirt...and i reali mean RANDOM! haha...in the end when i was out wif the clothes on me, lia was like "yes!!! very nice!!" -_- i was not reali very satisfied cuz the shirt was pretty translucent...haha...so in the end told her we juz walk over to far east n see if there's any other tops tat i can match wif the skirt. in the end, we din manage to find any that suits the feel tat lia got for the one she saw in zara...ate kfc wif her before we walked back to wisma to get the suspender skirt and look for more tops..haha...in e end we went into Bysi cuz it was having sales n we see if there's any tops tat matched. found a pink lacy sleeveless top, was quite comfortable when i wore it..so i bought it and KIV =P lia got herself a (i dunno wat u call tat) tat is both a top and pants linked together. she got so happy when she bought it immediately after she tried it on =P so back to zara we bought the leopard-look alike top wif the suspender skirt. =)

the party went off pretty smoothly, juz small glitches like the lack of drink near the cutting of the cake and had to get my er jie and deardear to buy some more drinks when they were out to collect the cake in my da jie's bf car..by then my paternal relatives had already left my party so the majority was my frenz. proceeded with cake cutting and photo-taking for awhile before minglee n vanessa and deardear helped me with the cutting of the cake and me distributing the cakes around. the cake was nice! from Rive Gauche, only a few outlets around in singapore according to deardear =) thanks dear!

after which is the present presentation from my frenz! haha...got a box of honey stars from the volleyball girls which they told me would explode if i shake it or had too big movement-_-''' was scared stiff when i tried opening the box to see wat it was...and tada!!! is an 8gb ipod touch! thank you so much girls!!*muackz* =) deardear shared the present too! =D Love you many many!!!

got a few presents from my jc class gals n guys...a bag pac, a set of body shop lotion, a nike bottle and a card! =) thank you so much!! though i know ah joo double check on my hints in one of my blog entries before goin to buy all these things! ah joo, huimin, kaiyan, amanda, jeannie, su sian, jason, choon kiat, zhiwei, qi you, thank you!! =) got a lamp from weiyuan! pretty and decorative! juz nice for my study table!! thank you! =) a bottle of abolute raspberri vodka from weijie! at first tot tat he had forgotten to bring it home wif him..hahaha =P thank you!

a green crumpler bag pack from my dear nie frenz!! haha...was told there was no purple colour so deardear told lia to get the green one instead =) n oso a card made by lia!! love it to the max can!! got a photo of everyone together with their messages...so touched sia! thank you lia, chris, josie, szeling, fel, jiaqian, valerie, james, weixin and cornelius! melzone got me a 龙猫 cushion himself..was cute!! =) thank you all!!!!!

busy week

juz back from my weekly acupuncture...was pretty suan for my arms this week, think the doc chose different acupoints to poke, was super suan when the needles were in poked in my skin for more than half an hour...Zzz...shall go do an X-ray next week cuz the doc actuali told me is better we noe wat is happening inside...whether or not is serious, will have a better assurance when the result is out...

this week gonna be a busy week! started sch on tues cuz monday was youth day holiday! had staff meeting today, was a casual one and the atmosphere was ok, not too serious but work was done as well =) tml lesson end as per normal at 1pm, got tuition at 330...gonna plan lesson for next week! cuz Ms Chew decided to give me her 2 periods of maths on monday for me to do a concluding lesson on decimals with her class! though did relief teaching before, juz 2 periods shd be ok, but stil.....im stil very excited and anxious! started planning for my lessons already! =)

thurs got staff training in school and then follow by training with synergy...hopefully can get some indoor court somewhere..fri goin to shop wif Lia!! haven asked her out since she returned, going to shop wif her to get some stuff for my bday..and deardear is still busy with dunno wat.......hahaha...counting down to my party...3 more days! =)

super tired walking around town today!!! reached plaza singapura near at 1150 to catch the movie "I Love You, Man" which was at 1145!! haha...was abit rush cuz deardear woke up late =P haha...got to call him n wake him up at 10am lor =P the movie was nice!!! pretty comical and lots of laughing scenes...haha! deardear's fav kind of show, i noe he like those jokes cuz he keep laughing uncontrollably during the show! deardear cutecute! =)

when we finished our movie, we walked around PS for awhile, in search of our geeky outfits!!! haha...nearly bought dear's outfit in this shop cuz he quite like it, but decided not to cuz the blouse that he wanted the most doesnt hav the correct size for him (too muscular arms liao! >__< ) hahaha...but i bought sth there!! a scarf and dear, suspender!! wahahaa...so exciting! first suspender for deardear! after tat, off we went to bugis! took the train instead of walking cuz is raining...has been raining ytd in the afternoon and night oso...hopefully the sky rained everything by friday! then sat is good good weather! *cross fingers*

walked around bugis junction for awhile, then walked over to bugis street...was still drizzling at tat time...nth much tat interest me for my geek outfit, but deardear and i bought our geeks specs!! haha...managed to reduce the price by $1! cuz my pair is left with the display set..decided there's nth much, so off we go to city hall and marina square! =P walked over there, wasn't reali a long distance...but after all the shopping n walking is stil quite tiring =P

reached marina sqaure cuz Lia told me she saw some nice outfits at zara...went over to city link to hav our dinner at Xin Wang restaurant before we go over to marina square there to take a look at zara! =) cant find anything tat Lia described, so we walked around before we saw sth tat suits deardear in topman!! deardear finally found wat he wanted for my party!! haha...cute deardear! in the end we became a member oso...haha...=P

back home frm a bday party! =)

back from jeannie's bday party!! haha...she got the same bday as me, 11th july..but she has to bring forward (i wun say is juz for me) so tat we wun have our party on the same day =) haha...she chose to hold it at Safra Resort in Changi!! was reali far and we were very lucky to have Jing Ling to drive us out to Clementi in her big family car...haha...

got some things to take note after jeannie's party, like the amount of food and drinks provided, espcially the drinks!! cant be too little cuz everybody will get thirsty pretty easily after all the talking!! and to eat cake without any drinks after that will leave everyone coughing!! definitely dun wan tat...haha! n im sincerely hoping that it wun rain on Saturday!!! *praying hard and crossing fingers* =(

hmmm...been thinking of wat i need for my bday so tat i can drop some hints to my girlfrenz so tat they do not have to rack their brains hard and come out with sth...is tough work i noe =P so, here's my hints...not sure if anyone will read this post though =P

i probably need some entertainment when i start my new semester, especially during my bus trips to school, definitely not game consoles, but sth else??? haha...can think along the line of wat i had lost tat time during Labour day =P

hmmm...was scolded by my mum e other day cuz i kept alot of plastic bottles in the kitchen..cuz i lost sth, gonna replace it wif plastic bottles for the time being until i get a new one? =P

im thinking of getting a new phone in Aug, wanna try asking Singtel for vouchers if possible...haha =P

probably need a pretty big thing to dump all my books and shoes and jerseys if my Open tournament starts in Aug during weekdays when i have lessons as well... =P

safra bbq pavillion =)

i've finally found a place for my 21st bday party (actuali for some time liao) and THE DAY for the party is exactly one week away!!! haha...went with deardear to Safra Jurong in June before we go for our Malaysia trip and actuali made payment straight on the spot and went again just now after his work to take a look and took some pictures cuz i need to think of how to decorate the place on that day itself! =P asked yosiani to help me!!! haha...she was super excited can...more excited than i am lor!! haha...told me wanna help me deco up the place! can definitely trust her cuz she loves art! and is real good in it!! (yosiani!! stress liao rite, im praising u till like tat) hahaha!!

new bed!! =)

hehehe...mentioned in my previous posts that my mama got a new bed that can help improve the health cuz of the negative ions it stores inside the bed itself. was reali showing effect on my mama and is good! she no longer have backaches which always bother her fairly frequently in the past. for myself, cuz im sharing the bed with her, i dun get my shoulder aches that often too! wat the bed does is to make use of the negative ions to help our bodies generate antioxidants that combat the bacteria or improve the blood circulation around our body.

definitely not bragging but i seriously think tat if we can get a bed tat helps to improve so much of our health, why not spend the money? plus, we are spending at least a quarter of a day on the bed! is definitely a good investment considering it to improve our health and save our money visiting the doctors so often!

Penang Trip!! =)

haha...been delaying my update on my malaysia trip!! haha...dunno wat im busy wif,mayb juz plain lazy =P hehe...anyway, gotta record wat i had done in malaysia!! next time if any of u wan go, can always see if my itinerary fits ur holiday plan =)

Penang Day 1

Was super excited about the trip with deardear and my mum!! we took AirAsia airline at Terminal 1, my very frist maiden flight experience!! was definitely super exciting for me, but i think im not reali used to my ear keep blocking and popping every 5mins or so...sounds exaggerating, but is true!! haha...took a few pictures and video on the plane.

the clouds was so fluffy and nice!! like big lumps of cotton wools hanging in the sky =) the plane lasted for 1hr 15mins, was pretty fast and there we are! Penang!! took a taxi to our hotel, Sunway Georgetown, which is very near Komtar. had to take 2 taxi cuz there are 5 of us and the taxi dun allow 5. so a total of RM76 for both taxi were paid at a counter before we board the taxi and head for our hotel. this system does help prevent the taxi drivers frm slashing unreasonable prices at tourists =)

when we reach our hotel,it was already afternoon around 12plus 1pm, the checking in to our hotel time was around 2pm, but when i went to the reception, was abit worried cuz the staff was telling me i got only 1 room under my name, when i had reserved 2. in the end they manage to get 2 rooms for me,everything was settled by 2pm or so after our lunch.

went out for lunch at the hawker centre juz below our hotel. tried the 3 layers milk tea!! saw it on tv last time, but the show was showing real big jugs but the one i took was juz a small cup..tasted nice! best is the char kuay teow!! know penang is famous for a few delicacies, so tried them out immediately =P

got into our rooms and rested for awhile. took some pictures of the room too! was quite a reasonable size for 2 and my mama got a room with her fren and my aunt, 3 persons sharing a room of 2 with an additional bed =)

it was already evening by the time we were back in our hotel rooms. we went to Gamma shopping centre to get some daily necesities as we din bring any with us cuz of the regulations of not allowed to bring liquid up the plane,so we decided to purchase them at malaysia itself..cheap cheap =P oso went to Komtar shopping centre and Prangin Mall. din reali do much shopping there cuz the stuff was not exactly cheap, only nearly bought a pair of sandals, but in the end decided not to. (dun ask me why =P) went back hotel to have our bath and head for our dinner at the seafood restaurant juz opp to the hotel! like the location of the hotel so much! everything within a throw stone distance away! =P

walked around the area around our hotel after dinner with deardear when mama n aunt wanna go back to rest in the hotel. many of the shops were already closed. initially wanted to walk to Penang bridge but realised it was pretty far from where we were. so we walked around the streets, and saw the new shopping mall, Penanag Time Square! we went in but all the shops are still on lease, so we just randomly took some photos and went back hotel to rest for the 2nd day to Batu Ferringhi!!! =)
