outing with synergy team =)

had another outing with my synergy team friends!! cuz we wanted to have a mini celebration at the end of all the competitions, though both of our teams did not manage to go on to the next round...stil, it calls for a celebration cuz both the gals n guys team did well in all the matches!! this time round niko took charge to plan the gathering and we actually went to Lunar at clarke quay...initially tot of not goin cuz it is a club!! never have i set foot in any of the clubs so far in my 21years of life =P haha...cuz i noe i dun like the atmosphere where loud bombarding music will juz blast its way into your ears n everyone dancing around in a chaotic manner...but was reassured by niko after tat tat she would be booking a ktv room where we can juz stay inside if we are not comfortable to go downstairs to club...tat's where most of us stayed (other than goin to toilet) haha...except for soowen niko shanshan jane n jim who went down to high with e rest of the clubbers =) haha...cheryl n i actuali felt abit out of place when we first entered Lunar, cuz is reali another world altogether...call me sua gu or frog in a well, i still dun find clubbing any exciting or interesting =x

we stayed all the way till around 530 in the morning!! all the way from 11plus at night till the next day morning...think was the longest k session i ever had sia..haha..enjoyed myself alot singing with the rest, whether is it those super oldies by ahem ahem or newer pop songs, im sure all of us had lots of fun!! =) yesterday was shanshan's last day at work cuz she resigned to set up a cafe with jane...she definitely drank alot alot according to jane!! omg...was told she n her collegues were gulping down a bottle of chivas each at another pub before they actuali came over to Lunar..tat explains why shanshan was so high to toast everyone n shocked jiarong when she went over to him =P haha...in the end she slept for about 3 hrs before she finally awake to enjoy the fun again with e rest of us =)

went for breakfast at mac after that, shanshan's treat...think she reali very happy ytd =P but im happy for her to be able to start a business of her own with jane!! hope their business will work out very well n if got chance will go patronise their cafe one of these days =)

coming to an end of the weekend again....gonna chiong tutorials and readings and prepare for my 3 tests coming week T____T hai...............

not feeling the right way...

juz did my tutorial before i online to check my emails n was pretty shocked to see one of my girls team player decided to leave my team after this series of competitions...wat she felt was she was not appreciated for her commitment even though she was working hard on her side to improve and play for the team...i dunno why but i actually felt very sad that she felt this way, definitely not wat is suppose to be...i understand how she felt being the reserves cuz i was once reserves in my sec sch team for a period of time too...did feel a bit left out but nonetheless felt happy that the team is improving even though i may not be the main 6 to play...i guess probably she doesn't feel any team spirit but rather felt strongly that the team neglecting her presence and not giving her what she deems as sufficient chance to play means is time for her to leave? while i feel sad tat i juz lost a player like tat, im also feeling slight anger within me...why is she so selfish? it is definitely not tat the team does not give her any chance to play, but on her side, did she reali put in alot of effort to improve n work on her own skills? instead of blaming us for disregarding her, she din see our intention from another point of view...not at all..

was rather upset by the email, but to think it through thoroughly, i guess i got some feelings rather mixed up somewhere cuz i realised im a tiny bit angry with her too...could only wish her all the best in another team...

the matches for this year's open tournament has finally ended for both the guys n gals team...ended on the same day some more...should not be the last for the guys team de...went down to support the guys team against phoenix, made up of a team of indians...a few of their players were quite good i muz say (so im not a total racist after all!! =P ) wat shocked me the moment i reached the sports hall was tat melvin told me that the guys team are out le...cuz of a stupid point system! >___< very lame lor, our guys team won 3 games out of 4, but actuali lost the chance to go into the next round cuz in terms of points, we were short of compared to the mickey mouse club!!! is so ridiculous cuz our team actuali won the mickey mouses!!! super duper kuku system!!! the news tat we are not goin to the next round reali came as a shock to me...was stil thinking tat the guys could finally go on to the next round n perhaps achieve alot more cuz this year they were reali good in terms of their skills n 默契! even without some players who were not around this year, i would say the guys team were alot more better compared to last year...last year they lack the skills n luck, this year they have their skills but juz tat little tiny bit of luck not there, next year they will have both!!!!!!! =)

my girls team today played our very last game with reali great performance!! reali reali...today everything juz seems to be so nice, so perfect...whether is it our defence, attack or team spirit, we gals are juz perfect!! haha...though the international khakis got some pretty tall ang mohs, but seriously speaking, i see them pretty but not intimidating =P so satisfied with my defence today!! haha...was reali shiok to receive the ang mohs' spikes!! then sooteng n val today spike very well too!!! have to say tat sooteng played strategically with the opponents today, some light spikes n some super heavy ones =) everyone who was down in the court today reali did our very best, with the reserves by the side cheering until their voices are hoarse, super gan dong!!! =...) i guess tat is wat makes this last game worthwhile n memorable ba...though we were last in our group, we reali grow as a team with every matches that we had played..some of the matches were reali very near to winning, but we failed to take it down...but im glad that all of the gals get to experience playing in this competition and i reali look forward to next year when both the guys n gals team work towards better results!!!! we can do it!! wahahaha~~ =)

feel tat synergy team is so much more bonded now, both the guys n gals team, reali love each n everyone in this team to the max!!! let's jiayou together n work towards winning in next year's competition!!! ^_^

busy and yet exciting week!!!

realised i haven reali updated my blog since my last post of my timetable...haha...was pretty busy with the Open tournaments sia...started on tues, then thurs there's e usual trainings and then consecutive sat and sun got matches too!! started off against Aljunied Hougang csc as the first match, was the very first official match this gals team played together, was a reali good fight even though we lost 0-3, i still feel that we have done our best and possibly to play even better if we have a chance again next year! =)

2nd match was against alliance!! hai...felt pretty disappointed cuz we could have won the game...ended up with 5 sets of the score 2-3, super wasted and sort of disappointed cuz i reali tot we could have taken down the last set as well...it was all super long sets played...whole game took abt 2hrs plus which very much delayed the rest of the teams at the back =P still rmb got a set we actuali played till a score of 31-33!!! can u imagine?! haha..went for dinner with some of the team mates after tat, remained quite quiet but think no one notice la =P

3rd match was on sunday!!against the red team!! some of them were actually in the national team, would say that the chances of winning is very slim, BUT we played reali very well!!! esp the 2nd set!! woohoo!! we are the first team which managed to get more than 20 points in a set from the red team!! nice sia!! some of the players were even looking very scared n tensed when we were fighting so closely in that set!! the coach was initially sitting at the audience seats, then after tat stood up to signal to the ppl sitting at the bench to tell them how to play before we catch up even further..haha..think is more than enough to have them gan ciong for that few points over a team which is so new...0-3, but reali nice game =)

another 3 more games to go, though the chances of goin on to the next round is slim, i still think that we end each game without regrets is the most important thing, and im very happy that our team is reali getting better after each game!! =) Jiayou gals!! we can do it!! =)

n congrats to the guys team for winning 2 games so far!! jiayou n im sure u guys can achieve further!! =D

timetable for the new semester

tat's my timetable for the new semester!! hai...very sian la, got a 5-day week...was hoping that i would be lucky enough to get a 4-day week despite having 7 modules this semester...fat hope =x was praying hard that my lesson on tues will not end so late (at least for this coming tues), but stil, it ends at 630,but luckily this week there's is no tutorial!! Yeah!!! so at least i can leave sch latest by 530!! but then, was thinking if i shd pon the 430 lecture oso, cuz if not i will have to cab down to Hougang sports hall with yingying which is super costly!! Wun have time to eat dinner oso...hmmm...shall discuss with yingying again on monday then =P

gonna get used to waking up early again!! >___< 3 out of 5 days early morning lesson!! hai...starts at 830...omg!! =...(

last weekend before school starts on tueday...reali dread school reopens sia...oh no.......... =(

tuition time =P

realised i haven reali mentioned before my tuition kids since i started blogging..has been teaching joyce for about 3 years since she was in primary 4. time reali flies like nobody business, and i think is the last few months before she finish up with her psle and i will be left with only her younger sister as my tutee for another 2years plus before she sits for her psle too...

tuition with joyce is no longer i-scold-you-listen kind of tuitions...since she entered primary 6, i got to adjust my tuition sessions so that she will be able to learn and at the same time control her mood swings. guess is the puberty period that makes her more easily irritable and less attentive..was not able to handle her mood swings previously because i realised i could not go through wat i wanted to go through with her during the 2 hrs and end up screaming at her for the attitude she is showing...but when i talked to her more abt the changes she would face or experience, she becomes more vocal in talking to me about how she feels and i do lend her a listening ear when possible during tuition time..but of cuz, i still will try to revise with her some work instead of just chit chat away the 2 hrs..

she was asking me a question today, whether to confess or not to confess to the boy(s) she likes now..she said that to confess will make the person leave her forever and never be even friends again. i told her such an ending is not definite, cuz u may not know whether the person u r infatuated or having the crush on is having the same feelings as you...even if the person decides to leave you, in order not to let you have more hopes on him, is good also so that you will be awake and not to be so foolishly waiting...but still...at her age now is all puppy love ba...haha...but feelings this kind of thing, attacks anyone at any age...cant blame her for being silly cuz i been through such a stage before too...haha...crush, infatuation, is all the playing of emotions in all humans..can be very difficult to handle and drives everyone crazy all the time...but for joyce, i guess is best she sort out her feelings herself,and from there she will learn to grow up..... =)

nice week spent! =)

this week was reali a packed week for me, mostly packed with vb stuff..had 2 friendlies and the usual training..vs gracie's police team on monday at outram police cantonment complex..i think we won,cuz i cant reali rmb the scores liao..most of our players were able to make it that day, so we did manage to learn sth out of the 5 sets we had with the team..had another friendly yesterday,saturday,at spans with hew rockets...saw aijiao! so long din see her since inter-school games...realised i did miss playing vb with her =) soowen and sooteng not able to make it for the friendly, so in the end i played as setter..was feeling less confused compared to when i just started to learn this new postition...think i need just a bit more time to stabilise myself in accepting this new position and work on the communication with the rest of mates when im the setter =) went for the leisure game at poi ching school today,took train all the way frm lakeside until pasir ris and i stood ALL THE WAY...haha..was super tired by the time i alighted the train..haha..lazy to go fight witht the aunties and uncles who literally prey on each n every seat!!! damn scary to see them ciong for the empty ones!! haha...but the game was nice! think i got the feel~~ today sia...whether for spiking or service or setting! was reali enjoying myself, laughing and laughing all the way..esp when jane and shanshan arrived =P HAHA!! think cuz i feel very relaxed and not thinking too much during the game...total enjoyment..how i wish such feel will stay with me for all the upcoming matches!! and the fixtures for the Open is out already!! =X

went for dinner with deardear at city link there! ate at the xin wang cafe! ordered the fried dumplings each..super nice!! haha...was super hungry after the game, so reali a good way to relax! went shopping ard marina square before we head home =) reali a nice and fufilling week! =)

watch "Hangover"!!!

haha..."Hangover" is super funny!!! haha...went to watch this movie with deardear just now at jp...was laughing all the way throughout the movie!! haha...deardear of cuz, whole body keep shaking too =P hmmm, a pretty good show if u dun mind some scenes which mayb a bit disturbing..haha..cuz i realised they like to show off their buttocks in the show...hahaha! the plot was pretty good and i like the ending!! was reali a unique way to end off the movie, esp when the plot reali flows well and the ending just add a very nice conclusion to everything!! shall not discuss the details too much here...go watch!!! is so good tat i think is worth a blog entry though i got nth much to say =P haha...

my eyes are forming a straight line liao..haha..go slp liao, goodnight! =)
