bye class 5.1!

and that marks the end of the academic year 2011. was feeling rather nostalgic on the last day of school, being the last day to be the form teacher of my favourite class 5.1. not that i won't see them again when school reopens, but they are no longer my form class. but what makes me happier was that the class is going to have a lot of fantastic teachers teaching them!:) and one of the teachers is Mrs Chia! my idol aka my netball teacher when i was in primary school! am so happy for my class and i managed to talk to my class on the last day of school, giving them my last word of encouragement as a form teacher. the saddest moment was during the promotion exercise, the pupils have to go to sit in their own classes for next year. when i see my two pupils dropping out of the best class and going to the other classes, i nearly teared lor. hai...but no choice, had to accept the harsh reality of results and banding. but again, it is not the classes that matter, is the attitude towards learning that matters. and i still wish all these pupils will continue to strive for good results next year!:)

an exciting year in 2012. many uncertainty ahead. wonder if i can handle an average ability class with some rather weak pupils. i do hope i can inspire them to work hard, definitely not for me, but for themselves! :)

well, no time for worries now! shall take a good break from school this holidays and rejuvenate myself for next year! (^_^)
