ISG finals :)
today was the second day of ISG, inter-school games. we came in 2nd after a tough match against NBS in the finals, a best of 3sets were played, we lost the first set, won the second and could not take down the last set which was just 15points. i reached src later cuz of my lesson, heard frm weixin that they had a tough fight with MAE earlier on too. with zoey in the team, it just make the team look super strong, but in anyway, NIE still managed to take down the game. hmmm, dun reali feel disappointed even though we lost in our last game against NBS, cuz it felt as though it was just another game played. perhaps we could have taken down the game more easily if only their main player, Shawn (dunno how to spell) din rush back in time for the game. but one thing i discovered from today's game was, there are reali many diff kinds of vb players out there which i dun feel that they are that wonderful after all even though though they may hit out the fiercest possible spike, or serve the fastest possible service. but the kind of attitude towards a game just dun make them deserve to be titled as the best player on court. getting all heated up (in the wrong way), come on lar, does it make u feel better when u constantly send out spikes like rockets that eventually hit anywhere but inside the court? and the way that particular player complacently allow so many balls drop onto the ground when those were the easiest possible ones that he SHOULD receive on his own, he never. is just the ugly side of how some "star players" will behave and i dunno how his team mates can tahan this kind of attitude that he has. well, is the first time i play with this kind of player as a team, and it is a good experience after all though i will never agree to that kind of attitude in court. the last year playing in ISG, i do hope that NIE will be able to emerge the champ in the next few years to come :)
