great day spent ytd! :D

heehee...ytd went back to cps for induction, i've got the feel so at home feeling leh. though the sch premise is not the one i was in when im in pri sch, the familiar faces ard, the teachers, the sch attendants, they are all still there :) has been reali reali long for them to continue working there can...and they see batches and batches of students entering and graduating frm cps. how nice is it isnt it? :) the teaching staff there are all very young teachers. seriously even the more senior teachers (like the hods) are mostly my teachers last time and they still look the same! they dun look any older compared to when i saw them in pri sch can. haha...and not to forget the new beginning teachers, they are all even younger! haha...but nice working in such an environment because everybody will be very bubbly working tgt and helping one another. and i think it is very impt to have a very nice sch environment to begin ur teaching career in, cuz the times when we feel stressful as a teacher we need all the love and care of all our colleagues ard to cheer us up and encourage us to hang on :) haha...mrs chia (aka ms lai) she is my most beloved teacher i ever had over my yrs of education. think oso cuz is her who bring out the athlete element inside me when i was in primary 4. the glory that she brought our netball team towards is sth which till today i nv forget. can still rmb very vividly the days of our netball tournaments, all the way frm west zone to nationals finals, where we met with CHIJ Kellocks, who were all like mountains in front of us, the defeat we had yet with lots of thumbs ups and cheers frm almost half the sch cohort who went down to support us that day. wah...as i type out and recall i can reali flashback those images real clearly lor. haha...very very nice memories. and i hope that i can bring to my future students such nice memories for them in their pri sch yrs too :) reporting on tuesday 6th July for the first day of sch! and that will be the start of my first teaching practice 1 which will be graded! reali quite scared, but i will try my best to work it through :)


aft the induction, i went home to change and then meet rongrong in vivo to shop! heehee...wanted to shop for both of our working attires cuz rongrong oso starting work in about another week's time!:) we walked ard a few shops and finally settled in Domanchi (dunno spell correctly or not:P) and managed to select quite a few tops and a bottom for rongrong! top up with a pair of shoes to make $200 and become a lifetime member there! heehee...like becoming members for such garments shop so that next time when work till very stress rite, can go have retail therapy mah! :D heehee...plus now with the gss sale, the prices there were much reasonable as compared to many other shops in vivo lor:) heehee, aft that went to grab sth to eat at carls junior before we continue shopping ard for my clothes! haha...went in to nichii cuz there were a variety of clothes there to select frm, and the prices were reasonable as well! just love the gss period! :D when u see discounts and more discounts everywhere! :P tried a few tops and dresses, but not many could reali fit wearing for sch, more of goin out with friends kind of outfits:P in the end finally got this purple top which i can match with a skirt or pants (which i got frm G2000 the day before at compass point) and rongrong bought it for me! :D heehee...not much time left to shop ard some more, cuz im meeting lia chris n josie at kim gary for dinner at 7! :) so we walked to the restaurant tgt then rongrong went back home for his dinner:) had a nice chat with the gals over dinner before we left the restaurant and go for shopping! cuz they oso say they needed to get some teacher's outfit for sch starting next week, so i told them abt the shop i went with rongrong before i met them:) in the end i managed to find another top hidden in a very secluded corner of the shop! haha...think rongrong goin to kill me aft reading this part :P hahaha...lia n josie got one or two for themselves too aft trying out:) not much shops left opened aft we came out from that shop so aft that was goin to the top level, the open area to sit down chit chat and take photos!:D heehee...and at first i was still thinking y they dun wan to go home and chris keep suggesting go up sit there to chit chat:P and it was to give me an advance birthday celebration!!! haha...so nice of them leh, cuz they know by the time we meet again most probably my birthday would have passed already, so till then then get me a cake wun be as nice, so they got this mini-layered cake from breadtalk! :D :D heehee...loves can...cuz i reali din noe they would celebrate in advance for me, but regardless of the size of cake and the very simple celebration (birthday song sang in a rush cuz the wind was so strong that the candle may go out anytime before i make wish and blow) i still appreciate their effort!!!! :) heehee..think maybe is the passed-21-yr-old-syndrome, u wouldnt mind how exaggerate or not the celebration or how surprised u get liao, just simple simple ones is sweet enough leh. haha...is their thoughts that matter after all :)))))) so we eat the cake and cam-whored awhile before we chit chat and update ourselves wat we each do and see during our holiday trips, the worries of the coming practicum and the complains of how holidays end so fast, before we walked to the mrt station to head home:) nice hanging out with them!!! heehee....
